Rajiv Singh

Rajiv Singh A Ph.D. in Hindi literature, he has over 30 years of experience in the communications business. One of the most celebrated educator of JIMMC comprising more than 12 years of academic experience. His rich experience as a practicing journalist spans more than 22 years in leading national Hindi dailies like Aaj, Rashtriya Sahara & Hindustan. He shares his vast experience with students by not just theoretically teaching about journalism but also by giving them practical training which is essential to journalism. He has been Dean, Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, Magalayatan University, Aligarh. He heads the Academics at JIMMC.

Sindhu Jha

Sindhu Jha After doing M.Phil and MA from JNU he started his career as a syndicated journalist with some of the noted and internationally famed journalists of India. After specializing in international Polity and history, he joined mainstream media and played a very important role with various capacities for more than two decades. During this period, he worked for Sunday Observer, Sahara group and Amar Ujala as a bureau chief (corporate). During his research work, he qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) of UGC and completed his research work on Sino-Indian Relations especially on border (boundary) dispute. He is teaching Mass Com. Students for the last 10 years and his pet subject is Reporting.

P.C. Singh

P.C. Singh A doctorate from JNU and a Masters from Delhi School of Economics, he has more than 25 years of experience of research and teaching. He has been involved in doing research in academics, and Mass Media including television & print. He has worked in various mainstream media houses like SAHARA INDIA, INDIA NEWS, NEWS LINE, PATRIOT etc. He has to his credit a book and numerous articles published in Indian Express, Telegraph, Hindustan Times, Pioneer, India Abroad, Think India Quarterly.

Devender Sachan

He has 24 years of experience including 14 years working with an International TV Channel abroad as the Technical Head. He has wide hands-on experience of the Hardware & Software of Radio & Television Programming, Production & Broadcast. He teaches Audio & Visual Production in Broadcast Journalism.

Noveena Chakravorty

Noveena Chakravorty has completed her Master's in Journalism & Mass Communication with specialization in Television & Films from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). She has completed her Film Appreciation Course from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune (FTII) and Film Making course from Indian Film Institute. She worked with “Star News” as a Reporter and later as a Communicator in “Public Relations Society of India”. For more than 10 years, she has been teaching Mass Communication Theories, Media Law, Television Formats, Public Relations, Advertising, Film Studies and Film Making at JIMMC. She is the Mentor of Advertising and Public Relations (APR) specialization at JIMMC. She has been a columnist on few Social Journalism Platforms mainly Differenttruths.com and E-Cine India online journal. She mentored and directed a few documentaries, infomercials and short films. She has also received professional training in dance from Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts and has choreographed and coordinated many events at JIMMC. She has also had the privilege of Anchoring Film Festivals.

Geetika Tripathi

An M.Phil in Mass Communication and Journalism with four years of industry experience, Audio Visual Editing and Videography are her forte. Her rich experience as a film-editor with JS Production for 1.5 years and making of documentary film for Doordarshan named “Spirit of India” are her assets which she imparts to her students. Besides, she has participated in workshops and seminars with Bollywood bigwigs too. At JIMMC, she is one of the core team of mentors for TV. Young, dynamic, and raring to go – Geetika takes care of all in-house Video Editing practical sessions and projects as well. She has eight year of teaching experience at JIMMC.

Devender Kumar

He has more than 12 years of teaching experience. He has also 3 years of experience with Aptech and 4 years with Swiss Computer, Delhi and other Institutes. He teaches IT to JIMMC students. He is methodical in his approach and assists in managerial operations as well.

Nishant Bhaiji

Mr. Nishant Bhaiji has diverse experience with the media. He has worked as Deputy Editor of Vivek Vidhrohi (a bilingual regional magazine); he has had a stint with the Zee Media as well. He also served as Political Analyst with the Embassy of Venezuela where he was responsible for interactions with the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Diplomatic Missions and other International and Multilateral Institutions. At the embassy he actively engaged with the media by way of organizing press conference, interviews and arranging media/ PR related activities. At JIMMC, apart from other assignments, he is mentoring students in the field of RTI. He did his M. Phil in Latin American Studies and M.A. in Conflict Analysis and Peace Building from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2013.
